Christmas Trees Farm Season 2013
Mainstay Farm began selling Christmas Trees in 1995. We will open for 2013 beginning The Friday after Thanksgiving. This years trees are irrigated Fraser Fir on display in Mainstay's 30,000 square foot barn. Trees are priced with tags according to size. All farm attractions will be operating (including our new British Flying Fox Zip Lines, Latvian Group Swings and Scottish Sheep Racing).
PLEASE NOTE that this year (2013) our Choose-and-Cut trees are not mature enough to cut due to the drought four year ago. The baby trees we lost in the drought were the ones we would be selling this year. But please come see us anyway to enjoy your family on our attractions.
Picnics and Reunions
Formerly a dairy farm, Mainstay's many buildings are now used for all sorts of events, such as company picnics for companies in Fort Worth, Arlington and surrounding communities, birthday parties, family reunions, church youth group gatherings, and day retreats.
Mainstay Grill provides on-site food service with a delicious country menu. Last year, the farm entertained more than 20,000 guests from the Fort Worth and other DFW metroplex towns, giving personal attention to each one.
Mainstay has blackberry picking in June each year. Honey is harvested from Mainstay's hives and is available in the HAYMARKET, our gift shop. If you're looking for a special place to host a farm-style event or company picnic near Fort Worth, please give Marianna a call at 817-295-6772.
